About Bank Cottage, it's accommodation and other detail......

Situated in an elevated position adjacent to the coastal path and above the beach at Porthallow, Bank Cottage is a quaint 400 year old Cornish Fisherman's cottage. Sleeping 6 in three bedrooms, the accommodation is arranged as follows:
On the ground floor is an entrance hall. To your left on entering the cottage is a bedroom with a double bed. This floor also has a shower room with WC, wash hand basin, shower cubicle and washing machine. Two steps lead up to the second bedroom which has two twin beds (bunk beds) which is ideal for children.
The stairs continue up to the first floor where there is an open plan living area with a large window seat from where you can enjoy a direct sea view. The lounge has a modern electric fire, sofas, chairs and TV. The dining kitchen has a table and four chairs, hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and all of the utensils, pots pans and crockery for a self-catering holiday.
Three steps lead up to the master bedroom which has a double bed. Adjacent is a family bathroom with WC, wash hand basin and bath.
A door leads from the landing outside to a paved, terraced area. A second elevated patio area is reached by a flight of external stairs.

The views from the property are stunning, looking out across the beach to the sea beyond and believe it or not you are only a few paces away from the beginning of the coastal path. When the tide goes out it leaves behind a wonderful array of rock pools which will keep both children and their parents intrigued for hours. Should you require sustainance then approximately 180 paces will bring you to the front door of the "Five Pilchards Inn" where food and drink abound.
